Volunteering 

 Do you have a few hours to spare.once a month? Once a week?
The Richland Area Band Boosters are in need of parent (or grandparent) volunteers for the upcoming marching season.

All volunteers for the band must be approved as a volunteer by BISD. It is easy, just Click here fill out the simple form.  They will send you an email when you are approved.   If you haven't renewed as avolunteer for the current school year, do that soon so you won't miss the opportunity to participate.  Below are just a few of the immediate needs that we have.  If you are interested in helping contact the person listed or  volunteer chair Adrienne Anderson at doeroy4@yahoo.com or 817-269-2315 for more information.

  Fall Band Rally
The Fall Band Rally is a fun night for students and parents in the three band programs in the Richland Cluster ( RHS, North Richland MS and North Ridge MS).  RABB will serve a dinner and all three bands will perform. This event is in mid September and we really need a chair for this year's event.  

Game Night Equipment Help- RABB Teamsters
Do you have Friday nights available and interested in helping to move band equipment to games? Contact Bobby Donahoo (bobbydonahoo@rocketmail.com )  to assist. There are also needs for Saturdays in October and November when we attend contests.

Spirit Wear
Interested in helping to sell RABB Spirit Wear at home games?  Debbie Herrera(817-703-2476 )needs one or two parents to help set up displays and sell during the first half of the game.

Chaperones
Want to save gas money and ride the bus with the band to the games?  Offer to chaperone for the games and contact Jaye Biles (jayebiles@sbcglobal.net)

Flag Sewing
If you are handy with a sewing machine, the Color Guard and Mary Jo Enders need help sewing flags.  If you can't sew a stitch, helpers are also needed to press and pin during the sewing parties.  Contact Melanie McCune (melaniemccune@yahoo.com ) to offer assistance.

BISD Marching Festival
The October BISD Marching Festival is one of our biggest fundraisers for the year.  

Uniform Help
We need some people to help with uniforms on Fridays and at contests.  This involves getting them ready for the students on game nights and any events they participate in.  Help is needed to wash band uniforms approximately 4-5 times during the marching season.  Any questions, please contact Susan Crow at (mombird6@yahoo.com)
