Supermarket Supporters – Grocery Reward Cards
Albertsons, Kroger, and Tom Thumb Shoppers
The Richland Area Band Boosters now have “community partner” accounts set up
with Albertsons, Kroger, and Tom Thumb. These
merchants will give back a percentage of sales every time a Band Booster uses
their affinity card —like the Community Card, Kroger Plus Card, and the Tom
Thumb Reward Card. There is no increase in the cost of your groceries. This money adds up quickly – amounts in the
hundreds of dollars go to RABB each month to support the band.
Each store’s sign-up procedure varies.
Albertsons
Community Card
NEW CARD FOR ALBERTSONS SHOPPERS
As many already know, Albertsons no longer takes their Preferred Card at the check out. Instead, they now have a Community Card with
the Richland Band I.D. number on it. Just have this card swiped at the checkout
and a percentage will go to the band. There is no signing up for this card.
Just pick one up at the concerts and most band functions where you see
the free grocery store card signs. Please get one or more for your shopping at Albertsons. If you have any questions, email Lee Ann Rattan
at leegeewt@sbcglobal.net
Kroger
Kroger Plus Card
There is a new implementation for the Kroger card. You will need to take this letter (click here) and have it scanned the next time you go shopping. After it has been scanned once, all future shopping will be tracked to RABB when scanning your card. The old sticker will no longer be in affect. The band will get credit for your purchases. If you have any questions or problems contact Lee Ann Rattan at leegeewt@sbcglobal.net
Tom Thumb
Tom Thumb Reward Card
For the Tom Thumb sign up, go to the customer service desk
at the Tom Thumb store and have Richland Area Band Boosters added to your card.
The RABB number is 2049. If you already have another school or non
profit organization listed on your Reward card, it is ok. One can have up to
three different non profit organizations on their Tom Thumb reward card. Every
time the card is used, 1% goes to the band. That adds up very quickly to
hundreds of dollars.
This is an easy way for the boosters to earn money for
the band. It can mean less fund raisers. If you have family and
friends that shop at these stores, ask them to add the RABB number to their
card.
There is a form that is usually out at any of the concerts,
dinners, band camps, or fall rally. Bring your Tom Thumb card and you can sign
up there. If you have any questions, contact Lee Ann Rattan at leegeewt@sbcglobal.net
Thanks and Happy Shopping!!
